Administration Officer & School Excursion Planner

Deanes Coaches Group – Cooma, NSW

Deanes Coaches Group, a proudly family-owned business with over 50 years of experience in school transport and group travel, is seeking an enthusiastic Administration Officer & School Excursion Planner to join our dedicated team in Cooma.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a company that provides safe, reliable, and professional transport services as well as tailored educational tours for schools visiting Australia's National Capital.

Key Qualifications We're Looking For:


•    Previous experience in office administration or a similar role


•    Experience in school excursion planning or event coordination (preferred)


•    Strong organisational and time management skills, with keen attention to detail


•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills


•    Professional presentation and a proactive, positive attitude


•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications


•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team


•    Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:


•    Answering and managing phone and email enquiries


•    Coordinating and booking school excursions and transport services


•    Liaising with schools and venues regarding itineraries and bookings


•    Preparing accurate documentation and data entry (minimum 30 wpm typing speed desirable)


•    Supporting the Deanes Educational Tours team in planning and delivering complete excursion packages (transport, accommodation, venues)


•    Preparing invoices, quotes, and maintaining accurate records


•    Providing administrative assistance across various business functions as required
