About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vac Truck Operator to join our team at Dynamic Hydro Excavations' in Sydney, NSW. As a Vac Truck Operator, you will play a vital role in our operations, operating specialised vacuum excavation equipment to support a range of critical projects. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Operating specialised vac trucks and associated equipment to safely and efficiently excavate and remove soil, debris, and other materials from construction sites
  • Performing routine maintenance and inspections on vac trucks and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Adhering to all relevant safety protocols and environmental regulations
  • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure timely and effective completion of excavation work
  • Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to excavation activities
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to less experienced operators, as required

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Vac Truck Operator in the construction industry
  • Possession of a valid HR or HC class driver's licence
  • Proficiency in operating a range of vac truck and associated excavation equipment
  • Strong knowledge of site safety protocols and environmental regulations
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
