One of our large manufacturing clients is seeking a Yard Hand on a nighttime ongoing basis.

Your new company

Our client is one of the largest privately owned steel manufacturers and distributors in Australia. Since trading, they have experienced considerable success, driven by the expansion of our product offerings and outstanding service quality. We take pride in providing a personalised service approach to our esteemed customers.

Your new role

As a yard hand, your role will primarily be loading and unloading of trucks, and moving trucks around the yard. While a HR licence is not required, you will be operating a heavy vehicle.

You will also be operating forklift to assist with the moving of products and unloading.

This role will commence on an afternoon shift from 2pm-10pm then move into a role which will be 8pm-4pm.

Base is $35.00 per hour + night shift loading of 15% where applicable and superannuation.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Forklift licence
  • Recent experience in a similar role (day or night shift)
  • Be able to manage fatigue and work overnight
  • Employment reference from the last 12 months.
  • Reliability and positive work ethic
