Location: Southport, Gold Coast QLD
Company: BGIS, Healthcare Aligned Client
Employment Type: Full-Time average of 42 hours per week (Shift pattern 12 hour days/nights and weekends).
Salary: $52 per hour plus superannuation
Other Information: Company-provided training and support for site-specific tickets and licenses. All necessary equipment provided - uniform, PPE, iPad and phone

Electrical Shift Technician - Join BGIS in a Critical Healthcare Environment

Are you an experienced Electrical Technician in Southport ready to take on an exciting role in a critical healthcare setting? Join BGIS, where you'll play an essential part in maintaining safe, reliable power for our client. With access to overtime and on-call shifts, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact while enhancing your skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a critical healthcare site.
  • Execute equipment inspections as part of a preventative maintenance schedule.
  • Respond to breakdowns, handle electrical replacements, and ensure the site operates smoothly.
  • Complete daily inspections and submit reports to ensure compliance and safety standards.
  • Operation and maintenance of site generator equipment.
  • Carry out high voltage switching operations.

What You'll Need:

  • Queensland Electrical Trade License (essential)
  • You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident for this position (essential)
  • White Card (desirable)
  • High Voltage (HV) Ticket (highly desirable).
  • Experience in a commercial healthcare environment (highly desirable)
