We are currently seeking an Operations & Customer Service Executive to join our team in Melbourne on a Fixed-Term basis.

Key responsibilities

  • Creating and managing necessary import documentation, such as customs paperwork
  • Liaise with overseas offices and agents regarding all freight movements
  • Acting as a point of contact for customers, providing updates and addressing queries
  • Liaising with operational teams to ensure smooth handling of shipments and ensuring any service issues are actioned and resolved
  • Monitoring shipment progress and providing updates to stakeholders
  • Invoicing accurately to customer
  • Processing supplier invoices
  • Coordinate shipment clearance with customs brokering team
  • Assisting cartage team with deliveries

Skills and experience

  • Minimum 3 years' industry experience
  • Experience using CargoWise is essential
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs
  • Possess a positive attitude with a strong customer focus
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication, time management skills and reliability
  • Knowledge of Customs and Quarantine procedures favourable
