Tasks & responsibilities

  • Report to Building Manager
  • Performing all daily operations including check-in and check-out tasks at the front desk
  • Managing online and phone reservations and responding to email enquiries
  • Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs
  • Respond to clients' queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Be comfortable resolving guest concerns and ensuring the highest level of customer service at all times.
  • Informing guests of all facilities and services in the hotel and local area.
  • Prepare housekeeping reports

Qualifications & experience

  • Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role beneficial
  • Experience with hotel reservations software RMS preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with keen eye for detail
  • A commitment to outstanding customer service
  • Excellent grooming and presentation skills
  • A warm, friendly and positive personality
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Confidence to problem solve without supervision
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Must be available to work on a flexible rotating roster including weekends (And Public Holidays) with loading paid as per fairwork requirements

Further to this experience, to be successful in this role, you will have unlimited work rights in Australia and will be available to work flexible days including weekends and public holidays, as per our business and team requirements.
