Job DescriptionWe're looking for a Vendor and Regulatory Compliance Manager to join our Procurement, Property and Facilities team at TAL in a permanent capacity. This is your chance to play a pivotal role in managing our supplier relationships, taking ownership of the entire supplier lifecycle and ensuring our procurement processes meet both our high standards and regulatory requirements.
You'll work alongside a supportive team and collaborate closely with experts in Legal, Risk, and Cyber, acting as a trusted advisor for supplier agreements and contract changes. Your focus will be on building strong governance, keep costs in check, and reduce risks. In this role you will:
- Help maintain and apply procurement policies and procedures that align with TAL's risk and regulatory standards.
- Develop, deliver, and update training materials and guides so everyone understands our compliance requirements.
- Assist with procurement reporting and always look for ways to improve how we do things.
- Spot supplier risks early and work with stakeholders and shared services to manage and reduce those risks.
- Provide practical help to the business for vendor contract queries, issues, disputes, changes, risks, and negotiate with vendors when needed.
- Handle ad-hoc requests from stakeholders and shared services like Risk and Legal to support decisions and get involved in projects when required.
- Strong working experience in operations to including vendor management, procurement, contract negotiations and risk
- Proven ability to manage large enterprise supplier relationships, including onboarding, vendor management, contracting, sourcing, and risk management.
- Excellent attention to detail, customer service, and written and verbal communication skills
- Financial management and reporting skills
- Proficient user in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook
- Experience using PowerBI
