Job Description
Our Regulatory and Compliance (R&C) unit within our Governance, Risk and Compliance team supports our clients by providing them with comfort that they understand and have appropriate controls and processes in place to manage compliance with their obligations. Our team brings expertise across compliance, governance, risk, and controls advisory, and more, and supports the implementation of strategic outcomes for clients across all industries, as well as assisting our clients manage and implement regulatory change and deal with regulatory interactions, enforcement and remediation programs.
As an R&C specialist in the GRC team, your role as a Manager will include;
- Leading the development of client deliverables whilst overseeing the day-to-day delivery of client engagements.
- Developing Compliance Management Frameworks and reviewing, designing and uplifting policies, processes and controls for our clients.
- Providing leadership to build the capacity of our delivery teams and integrating capabilities from across the firm, to ensure client engagements are delivered to the highest quality by implementing the right program and project management disciplines
- Bringing together knowledge from teams across our firm, by collaborating with other skilled consultants within our Governance Risk Compliance team and the broader firm to our ability to lead and support projects that KPMG delivers.

- Prior experience working in a compliance function, as a compliance consultant and/or as a regulator.
- A desire to collaborate in teams on short- and long-term projects, and proven track record in contributing to and delivering projects successfully
- Experience in working across a portfolio of projects with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience operating in a highly regulated environment, including in-house, as a consultant or as a regulator. In particularly, operating in an ASIC or APRA regulated environment will be looked upon favorably, but other regulatory experience is also seen as a positive.
- A relevant tertiary qualification (eg: business, commerce, finance, law, etc), post-grad qualifications (eg: CIA/CPA/CA, ACI or RMA accreditation), will be viewed favourably, but we are also happy to consider people from other backgrounds such as engineering, project management, change management, data analytics and information technology.
