Would you like to be part of a purpose driven team that is committed to maintaining a fair and efficient workers' compensation scheme that balances the needs of workers and employers?

Workers' Compensation Regulatory Services (WCRS) has specific legislative and policy responsibilities prescribed under the Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003 which include monitoring the compliance of insurers, employers and other obligation holders, investigating non-compliance, conducting and defending proceedings, dispute resolution, providing rehabilitation and advisory services, accrediting rehabilitation and return to work programs and courses, promoting education about the workers' compensation scheme, recurring regulatory functions and implementing the government's policy and legislative agenda.

They also contribute to the planning, execution and evaluation of workers' compensation compliance and enforcement activities by responding to complaints and collaborating with insurers and other obligation holders to improve capability and enforce compliance.
