About The Role…
As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and technical implementation of SG Fleet's overall data platform strategy aligned with business objectives. The strategy includes data model designs, database development standards, implementation and management of data warehouses, data lake and data analytics systems.

Tasks And Responsibilities…

• Responsible for providing expertise in designing, creating, deploying and managing SG Fleet's data architecture
• Define how data should be stored, consumed, integrated and managed by different data entities and IT systems, as well as any applications using or processing that data
• Express strategic data requirements, outline high level integrated designs to meet these requirements, and align with organisation strategy and related business architecture
• Establish and continuously improve efficient operating models to support a global, federated, domain-oriented data and analytics organisation
• Establish and continuously improve guidelines and guardrails to support governance of quality, non-functional requirements, security and adherence to architectural standards
• Define and manage the flow of data and dissemination of information within the organization
• Collaborate with platform and solution delivery architects to ensure the data analytics platform architecture serves the on-going and strategic business objectives of multiple lines of businesses
• Provide guidance and continuously review the data and analytics solution designs across delivery teams to ensure consistent implementations of architecture standards and scalability of technical solutions

Skills And Experience
Essentials

• Proven experience in data/application architecture, Cloud Solutions with emerging technologies, Big Data, Data Modeling, Data Architecture, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence
• Extensive experience in Data modelling (Relational, Dimensional, Star Schema, OLAP Cubes, and Bus Matrix Mapping)
• Demonstrate an advance ability to manage large data sets, cloud computing, open-source tools, and optimization techniques
• A solid background in data and analytics experience implementing and/or overseeing enterprise data and analytics initiatives in enterprise environments
• Previous hands-on experience working with a broad set of Azure services related to Data and Analytics including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Delta Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics
• Understanding of modern data architecture and experience with core data services like maintaining data lakes, data warehouses, data marts as well as relational and dimensional modelling, data quality and master

data management

• Solid experience with Power BI, SSRS and T-SQL and a proven experience of creating reporting or analysis solutions using large volumes of data
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal, along with effective influencing and negotiation skills.
• Experience working in complex projects using Agile methodologies
• Experience and knowledge working within ISO2700X security frameworks

Desirable

• Broad business experience in complex enterprise environments, ideally within financial services and/or logistics
• Experience with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence)
