About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to foster growth, partnerships, and sustainability across CEW's portfolio of leadership development programs.
In this pivotal role, you will develop and implement business development plans to sell our unique leadership programs. Our programs are a world class elevation and acceleration platform for women to take on c-suite, executive level and board positions.
You'll champion and leverage CEW's unique position in Australia. Cross selling our products and services within industry, partner organisations, and our member and alumni community — building strong relationships and expanding our reach and impact.
You will play a key role in designing and executing CEW's integrated Business Development Strategy in collaboration with the Executive Team, CEW Members, and Committees
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new business development opportunities across CEW's leadership programs.
- Maintain, strengthen, and grow client and partner relationships.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities to widen our audience and market reach.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure we are leveraging other partnerships and working towards CEW's strategic objectives.
- Provide regular reporting, analysis, and updates on business development performance.
About You
You are an accomplished business development professional who thrives in a small, purpose-led environment and enjoys building meaningful partnerships. You have experience in learning and development/organisational development (OD) environments or have driven leadership development initiatives within organisations. You bring both strategic vision and practical, hands-on capability.
Your skills and experience:
- 6+ years' experience in account management, high end/ luxury sales or business development.
- Excellent relationship building skills that leads to ongoing partnerships and sales pipeline development.
- Confidence and expertise to communicate and engage with c-suite stakeholders.
- Being able to curate a compelling narrative in regard to the alignment between our products and the needs of the individual and organisation.
- Being adaptable and thinking on your feet.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and a proactive, self-motivated approach.
- Outstanding organisational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- A collaborative, positive, and resilient approach — aligned with CEW's values and culture.
Non-essential, but value add experience
- Marketing experience
- Experience selling c-suite education programs
- Exposure to OD/learning and development areas within organisations
- D&I or Gender Equity experience
