The Role

We are currently looking for full time and part time cleaners to work in Mascot covering NIGHT and EARLY MORNING weekday, weekend & public holidays shifts. Various roster options are available. Shifts include:

Mon - Fri - 10pm-6am

Mon - Fri - 6pm - 2am

Mon - Fri - 11pm - 3.30am

This role will be responsible for a range of cleaning tasks, working to agreed schedules to deliver a high-quality standard of work.

Specific responsibilities may include:

  • Detailed cleans of public areas including facilities & washrooms
  • Collection of waste from designated waste stations
  • Spot cleaning, including mopping, sweeping
  • Toilet, car park and walkway cleaning
  • Reporting of any maintenance requirements
  • Ensuring all equipment is maintained, used and stored correctly
  • Using appropriate chemicals for cleaning purposes ensuring safe work practices are maintained
  • Steam cleaning, floor strip and seal, pressure washing

About You

To ensure your success in this role we anticipate that the ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Current ASIC license holders will be highly regarded
  • Current national police check
  • Positive, 'can do' attitude
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Experience using a pressure washer or steam cleaner (not essential)
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Diligent and takes pride in own work
  • Good communication skills
  • Customer service experience, working with the public
  • Ability to work unsupervised and also part of a team
  • Great attitude and willingness to learn
