Our client is a national floorcovering wholesale distribution company servicing Australia for around 50 years. It prides itself in customer satisfaction by offering world class products delivered by their dedicated team.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity at their Wetherill Park facility (Monday - Fridays, no night or weekend work). Working as part of a small dedicated team you will be involved in the delivery of customers' orders and assisting in the warehouse.

Responsibilities includes but are not limited to:

Truck Driver Responsibilities (main responsibility):

  • Daily inspection of vehicle, including scheduling planned services

  • The organising and planning of delivery runs to ensure efficient delivery

  • Ensuring the correct paperwork is completed

  • The safe and correct loading of truck

  • The delivery of goods to customers

Storeperson Responsibilities (when not performing deliveries)

  • the loading and unloading of stock

  • Storing of stock in correct locations

  • General maintenance of warehouse equipment and ensuring warehouse areas are clean

  • Answering telephone as required



Requirements

To be considered for this position you will meet the following criteria:

  • Unrestricted MR license or higher and proven experience in driving a truck

  • Some warehouse experience

  • Forklift license preferred but not essential

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Basic – Intermediate computer skills
