**About the role**

We are looking for a Warehouse Storeperson to join our team. If you have Warehouse experience, a current Forklift Licence and looking to be part of a growing business, then this role may be for you.

**Responsibilities may include**:

- Load and unload vehicles ensuring checklists are completed and information recorded is accurate
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction by regularly inspecting products for signs of damage, infestation or other quality control requirements
- Prepare and pack orders for both customer and production staff and assist in packing when requested
- To ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times
- Participate in and ensure accuracy of stocktaking activities
- High level of picking accuracy and ensuring FEFO is maintained
- Ensure correct storage requirements are adhered to, which includes specific temperature and allergen storage requirements
- Ensure the correct tracking of batch and production information in the warehouse.
- Coordinate and perform cleaning activities of warehouse and associated areas
- Assist production in clearing of production waste when needed
- Maintain an orderly, clean and efficient warehouse at all times

**Essential knowledge and experience required**
- Prior experience in a similar role within the food industry would be beneficial
- Current Forklift and Drivers Licence
- Pallet Jack experience would be an advantage
- Knowledge of Work Health and Safety and Food Hygiene requirements would be beneficial
- Excellent communication
- Task and time management skills
- Able to pass pre-employment medical

**Salary**: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
