Our client is currently seeking an SMP Project Engineer for a long term contract position at their Kwinana operation.

Our client is a market leader in the resource sector and is currently seeking an SMP Project Engineer with strong construction and project management experience in an industrial environment. Working as part of the project team, you will be accountable for the safe delivery of successful capital projects from conception to completion. Responsibilities will include scope definition, overseeing engineering designs, ensuring schedules and budgets are well managed, statutory and company standard compliance, commissioning and successful project handover.

To be considered for this role you will need to meet the following criteria:

Bachelor of Engineering degree

Safety leader in the review of designs and implementation

years of project delivery experience in a processing plant environment

Strong planning, project engineering and project management skills

Extensive knowledge of Australian Standards and relevant regulatory requirements

Excellent communication and team work skills

Ability to work on-site in Kwinana
