About the role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Services Specialist - Formal Messaging to form part of a 24/7 close-knit team in performing the coordination and support to customer Messaging within the Defence strategic environment. Reporting directly to the Formal Messaging Team Leader, this role provides a critical function in supporting ongoing customer operations on a day-to-day basis.
About you
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Monitor servers, messaging queues and gateways. Providing level one and two support for several applications contained within, and creating, modifying, deleting and maintaining user accounts for these applications. Provide confirmation of successful and timely delivery of formal messages to the customer via several methods. Conduct onsite security-specific activities. Ensure that all day to day activities are in line with the relevant security requirements, Procedures Manual and other relevant standards (including treatment of classified materials). Customer relationship management and training/workshop even delivery.Requirements:
AGSVA Security Clearance essential. Experience within the Defence ICT environment. Ideally experience in Defence Communications Facility. Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure and knowing when to escalate issues. Proven ability to work well within a team environment. Problem solving skills with the ability to understand and interpret complex situations and activities. Ability to work on a 24/7 roster.Why Fujitsu?
