About the role

Mastracorp Real Estate is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Property Trust & Accounts professional to join our dynamic team in Adelaide, SA. This full-time role is responsible for managing the financial aspects of our commercial property portfolio, ensuring accurate record-keeping, trust account management, and timely client billing and payments.

What you'll be doing

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date property trust accounts, including security deposits, rent payments, and other related transactions
  • Processing client invoices and rent payments in a timely manner
  • Reconciling trust accounts and preparing monthly financial reports
  • Liaising with clients, property managers, and other stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve any discrepancies
  • Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns
  • Providing support for property inspections, lease renewals, and other administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar property trust and accounts role, preferably in the commercial real estate industry
  • Strong understanding of trust account management, including relevant legislation and regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Proficient in the use of property management software and accounting systems
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines
