*About the Role*

As the Principal Psychologist, you will lead and coordinate the delivery of clinical services across the Centre. Approximately 30% of your role will be conducting assessments and providing intervention to a range of complex clients, with the remaining portion providing quality leadership and support. You'll provide high quality supervision to a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, social workers and AOD Specialists, oversee offence specific and offence related interventions and contribute to program development that supports prisoner wellbeing and rehabilitation. This role balances clinical depth with operational oversight which is perfect for a high-impact, hands-on leader.

  • Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
  • Experience supervising or mentoring clinical staff
  • Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills
  • A collaborative, outcomes-focused approach
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
  • Resilience, authenticity and a commitment to evidence-based practice
  • Interest in innovative rehabilitation models and multidisciplinary teamwork

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience in forensic, correctional or complex mental health settings
  • Board-approved supervisor status
