Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Transmission Line Engineer located in Melbourne, VIC. The Senior Transmission Line Engineer will be responsible for designing and refurbishing transmission lines, providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including clients and team members, to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. The engineer will also be involved in drafting and CAD services, feasibility studies, and the supply of towers and poles.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Transmission Lines design and refurbishment
  • Strong Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent Communication and Networking skills
  • Proficiency in using advanced tools like PLS CADD, AutoCAD, and Space Gass
  • RPEQ/RPEV certification is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Ability to work on-site in Melbourne, VIC
  • Experience in the energy infrastructure industry is beneficial
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
