We're currently seeking experienced Lineworkers from Victoria and Interstate (Glove & Barrier as well as general Linesman) to join our growing teams across various regions of the United Energy (UE), Powercor, and AusNet networks. What you will need:

  • Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems - Distribution Overhead or Australian equivalent.
  • Construction Industry White/Blue Card.
  • High Risk Licences (Elevating Work Platform, Dogging and Rigging).
  • Line Worker Registration (Orange Card)
  • A current MR or HR Drivers Licence.
  • Current VESI Skills passport with up-to-date training is advantageous.
  • Experience in electrical maintenance and construction
  • Strong safety mindset and ability to work in high-risk environments

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Attend pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol test.
About the Role

As a Lineworker, you will be responsible for the construction, maintenance, and repair of electricity distribution networks across Victoria, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret technical drawings, network line diagrams, and maps
  • Construct and maintain electricity distribution and/or transmission networks
  • Respond to emergency faults on high/low voltage assets
  • Work in accordance with Omexom's safety, quality, and environmental standards
