About the role
We're seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Commercial Analyst to join our high-performing team. You'll play a key role in driving business performance through insightful analysis, forecasting, and reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys turning data into actionable strategies.
This position is a 12-month contract.
Key Responsibilities
Utilise professional data tools to build scalable, repeatable data transformations and extracts across financial, commercial, and operational functions.
Deliver accurate and timely reporting across commercial and operational areas, including ad hoc, daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Conduct accurate detailed analysis of financial and operational data to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities for improved performance and reporting.
Develop and maintain dashboards and models to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management, translating complex data into clear insights and strategic recommendations.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
About You
Degree qualified in Business Management, Data Analytics or a related field is desirable.
3+ years' experience in a commercial or financial analyst role.
Strong SQL skills (or similar data tools).
Strong Excel and data visualisation skills (Tableau preferred).
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
A curious mindset with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
