Wangaratta, VIC | Permanent Part Time (16 hours per week, 2 days) | $35.43 per hour + Super

Are you ready to take the next step in your early childhood career? Do you want to make a real impact in the lives of young children while working in a supportive, above-ratio, and values-driven environment?

At Wangaratta Children's Services Centre, we're on a mission to shape confident, curious learners — and we're looking for a passionate, Diploma-qualified Early Childhood Educator (Level 3) to join our team and help make it happen.

About The Role
As a Level 3 Educator, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering engaging, play-based programs that support each child's learning, development and wellbeing — all guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.

You'll collaborate with a passionate team, build meaningful relationships with families, and contribute to a high-performing centre working toward achieving the highest National Quality Standard rating.

What You'll Bring

  • A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent), recognised under the Education and Care Services National Law
  • Sound understanding of Victoria's Child Safe Standards and the National Quality Framework
  • Experience delivering quality early childhood programs for children aged 0–6
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Strong teamwork and time management skills, with the ability to self-manage responsibilities
  • Current (or willingness to obtain): Working with Children Check, Level 2 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Emergency Asthma Management certifications

Why You'll Love Working With Us

  • Centre hours: 7.30am – 5.30pm
  • Two-week shutdown over Christmas – enjoy a real break during the holidays
  • Paid parental leave for permanent full time and part time employees – because your family matters too
  • Staffed above ratio – so you can focus on what matters: quality care and connection
  • A warm, welcoming culture focused on inclusion, growth, and innovation
  • Ongoing professional development and support in achieving the highest NQS rating
  • Inclusive and Supportive Team: Work alongside passionate professionals who prioritise a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children
  • Ongoing Training & Development: Continuous opportunities to expand your skills and grow within the organisation
  • Work-Life Balance: Flexible working options to help you balance personal and professional life
  • Employee Benefits: Enjoy corporate perks, including flu vaccinations, discounted gym memberships, and access to Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
