Caruggi is an Italian restaurant situated in the dynamic arts precinct of Geelong. We cater to a diverse cliental and offer a relaxed environment providing a quality and unique food and drinks offer.

Are you the hospitality professional we are looking for to work in our a customer-focused environment? Caruggi is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic team member to deliver knowledge service and create memorable dining experiences for our guests.

What You'll Do:

  • Greet and seat guests with warmth and professionalism
  • Run a busy section and take orders accurately and efficiently
  • Be informed about the food and drinks to help customer choices especially with dietary requirement
  • Have a knowledge of Italian food and drink including our Northern Italian specialties
  • Work as a team with both kitchen and front to ensure smooth service
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with a positive attitude

  • Previous experience in a similar service restaurant
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A love of food and wine and a willingness to learn
  • A team player with a strong work ethic
  • Weekend availability essential
