The opportunity to join our team
This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing team, drive innovation across digital advice tools, and influence the future of financial wellbeing for thousands of Australians. You'll have strategic ownership, visibility across the business, and the chance to grow your leadership profile in a supportive, purpose-driven culture.
As the Product Owner for Tools & Calculators, you'll influence the strategy and delivery of our advice tools, helping Australians make smarter financial decisions. If you're passionate about people leadership, digital transformation, and making a meaningful difference in financial wellbeing, this could be the next big step in your career.
What you'll be doing
In this role, you'll bring together leadership, strategy, and technical oversight to deliver digital advice solutions that make a real impact. You'll be responsible for:
- Leading and inspiring a high-performing team of engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of engagement, inclusion, and continuous growth
- Owning the strategy for our suite of digital advice tools, identifying untapped opportunities and aligning with broader tech and business goals
- Driving delivery excellence through agile planning, prioritisation, and execution across AWS-hosted platforms and XPLAN integrations
- Championing advice risk management, ensuring compliance with RG 276 and RG 255, and partnering with risk and compliance teams to maintain robust controls
- Engaging stakeholders across product, business, and compliance, translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights
- Managing vendor relationships and ensuring seamless collaboration across internal and external teams
What You Bring to This Role
To thrive in this role, you'll bring:
- Deep domain knowledge in financial advice, superannuation, and regulatory frameworks
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams through digital transformation
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, web architectures, and software development lifecycle
- Confidence in managing risk and compliance in a regulated environment
- Excellent communication skills — able to influence and engage across technical and non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with XPLAN integration is highly desirable
