PR Executive – The Known Agency

The Known Agency is looking for a proactive, detail-driven PR Executive to join our PR & Communications team in Sydney. Working closely with the PR Manager and PR Director, you'll help deliver impactful campaigns, build media and influencer relationships, and support the execution of events for leading fashion and lifestyle brands.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves the fast pace of PR, thrives on creative thinking, and has a genuine passion for the industry.

About the Role

You'll be involved in the day-to-day management of client PR programs, including press outreach, influencer activations, event support, and brand profiling and reporting. You'll need to be highly organised, a great communicator, and able to manage multiple priorities with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive proactive and reactive media engagement to secure coverage for clients.
  • Build and maintain strong media, influencer, stylist, and industry relationships.
  • Lead influencer gifting and paid-partnership initiatives.
  • Support PR Manager and PR Director in planning and executing events, collaborations, and sponsorships.
  • Create media lists, pitch stories, and distribute press releases.
  • Track, monitor, and report on press coverage and social-media activity.
  • Provide creative input for pitches, campaigns, and seasonal activations.
  • Manage and update talent and influencer databases.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years' experience in public relations, ideally within fashion or lifestyle.
  • Strong understanding of media relations and influencer engagement.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office Suite
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for brand storytelling.
