Architectural Draftsperson

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsperson to join our dynamic team at Elite Engineering Group Pty Ltd. As an Architectural Draftsperson, you will play a crucial role in the development and delivery of high-quality construction drawings and architectural designs for our diverse range of projects. This full-time position is based in our office in Mount Hawthorn, WA 6016.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing detailed construction drawings, specifications, and other architectural documentation to support project delivery
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure design intent is accurately reflected in construction documents
• Utilising computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce detailed and accurate drawings
• Assisting with the coordination of consultants and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution
• Staying up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in architectural drafting
• Providing technical support and advice to project teams as required

What we're looking for

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Architectural Drafting or a related field
• Minimum Diploma level qualification required for this position
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Architectural Draftsperson, ideally within a consulting engineering or architectural firm
• Proficiency in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Revit, to produce detailed and accurate technical drawings
• Revit proficiency is specifically required for this role
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse project teams
• Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to handle changing priorities and deadlines
• Visa sponsorship is available for suitable candidates without Australian work rights
