About the Role: Embroidery Production Assistant
Hours: Full-time or part-time (30–38 hours per week)
Location: Gunn's Menswear & Embroidery, Forbes NSW
Pay: Award hourly rate depending on experience + super + leave entitlements + staff discounts
You'll be responsible for:
- Operating embroidery machines to decorate garments, hats, bags, and more
- Setting up and adjusting designs using embroidery software
- Preparing garments, selecting threads, and framing for stitching
- Managing orders and deadlines efficiently
- Communicating with customers to confirm their design needs
- Maintaining a tidy workspace and keeping machines running smoothly
Who We're Looking For?
You're a great fit if you:
- Are detail-oriented and quick to fix things that aren't quite right
- Feel comfortable with technology or are eager to learn
- Are organised, reliable, and happy working independently or as part of a small team
- Have an interest in textiles, design, or hands-on creative work
- Have embroidery or garment decoration experience (helpful but not essential - we'll train the right person
