Sales Support Merchandise Professional

About the Role:

The Sales Support Merchandise Professional plays a vital role in driving sales of agricultural merchandise products. The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic team to develop strong customer relationships with local farmers, primary producers, and trade customers.

  • Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching of goods
  • Assisting customers with pricing and product queries
  • Processing counter sales
  • Maintaining safety processes
  • Assisting with merchandise campaign material
  • Maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment
  • Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment. You'll have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture, ideally with knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise.

In addition, you will demonstrate:

  • Experience working within a sales environment
  • Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships
  • A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
  • Ability to identify ways to improve internal sales processes
  • Competent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

A current driver's license is essential. A Forklift license & HR license are advantageous but not required.
