AMES Australasia design, manufacture and market the leading providers of non-powered landscaping tools and garden décor products in Australia, New Zealand and beyond.

Our iconic brands include; Cyclone, Nylex and Northcote Pottery... to name a few Our philosophy is to build products that last, from garden tools being used year after year to garden décor which endure the elements - our products always stand the test of time. As we grow and develop our brands, our aim is to remain the go-to brand for our customers by creating hardworking tools with sensible designs.

We are currently seeking a Forklift Driver or Store Person/Picker to join our dynamic team in a full-time or casual role at our Maddington, WA, warehouse. Whether you have forklift experience or are eager to begin your journey in warehousing, we have a place for you. If you're ready to apply your skills or learn on the job & can handle some manual lifting, we'd love to hear from you.

Package and Opportunities:

  • Competitive hourly rate for full timers based on experience & skills
  • Potential bonuses based on personal and business performance
  • From Store Person to Warehouse Manager, we offer five levels of career advancement.
  • Shiftstimes 8 AM to 4 PM (room for flexibility for the right candidate)
  • Active Social club with bi-monthly activities planned outside of work (optional)

Job tasks and responsibilities can include:

  • Operating counterbalance & or high reach fork
  • Unloading containers
  • Helping around the warehouse as and when required
  • Assisting with picking and packing orders
  • General warehouse maintenance (some heavy lifting may be required)
  • Maintaining a safe working environment

Skills and experience

  • Must be a team player with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work as a team, as well as autonomously
  • Valid forklift licence advantageous
  • Physically fit
  • Good understanding of a safe working environment
