About The Role
We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Finance team on a fixed term contract until June 2026, with the potential for extension.

In this role, you'll support the Accounts Payable Manager in performing end-to-end Accounts Payable functions. This includes invoice processing, supplier management, system maintenance, month-end procedures, and expense reconciliation. You will be an essential part of our Finance team, working collaboratively across the business to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Upload and process invoices electronically
  • Manage inventory and stock invoices, ensuring accurate PO matching and coding
  • Maintain correct coding and approvals in line with Delegation of Authority (DOA)
  • Ensure governance standards are met for all AP processes
  • Maintain and update supplier master files in the Accounts Payable system
  • Reconcile supplier statements (local and foreign currency)
  • Communicate with suppliers to resolve invoice and account issues
  • Assist with end-of-month reconciliations and reporting
  • Upload and reconcile monthly Mastercard statements
  • Assist the Accounts Payable Manager with various finance-related tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

  • At list a year experience in an Accounts Payable or finance support role
  • Proven understanding of Accounts Payable functions and accounting principles
  • Experience using accounting software (preferably Movex)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good problem-solving skills and initiative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong customer service focus and ability to work cross-functionally
