We are a growing business with growing client counts; hence we are looking for a long-term full-time Motor mechanic (Team Leader) with 3 years exp minimum and Multiple team members Motor mechanic to work under Team leader with minimum 1 -2 years of exp at both our ventures of City discount located in Osborne Park & Balcatta. He should be aware of its job duties and experience with hybrid car will be a plus point.

Duties to perform by Motor Mechanic with Min 1-2 years of exp

Annual salary offering - $73,000 - $80,000

Detecting and diagnosing faults in engines and parts

Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components, and checking parts

Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as needed

Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations

Reassembling engines and parts after being repaired

Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance

Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computers

May inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates or detail work required to achieve roadworthiness.

Duties to be Performed by Team leader Motor Mechanic with min 3 years + of exp

Annual salary offering $ $90,000

Team Management: Supervise and support a team of motor mechanics, ensuring tasks are carried out efficiently and to a high standard.

Mentoring: Provide guidance and training to less experienced mechanics, helping them improve their skills.

Scheduling: Organize work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet deadlines and customer demands.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor and assess team performance, offering feedback and conducting performance reviews.

Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any conflicts or issues within the team to maintain a harmonious work environment.

Vehicle Repairs and Maintenance: Oversee and participate in diagnosing and repairing vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.

Quality Control: Ensure all work performed by the team is up to industry standards and complies with safety regulations.

Troubleshooting: Lead complex troubleshooting efforts and provide guidance for more challenging repair jobs.

Customer Communication: Interact with customers when necessary, explaining technical issues, repair costs, and timeframes.

Supports his team of mechanics, ensuring high-quality vehicle repairs and maintenance.
