About the Role
**As our Mechanical fitter your duties will include**:
Reporting directly to the National Maintenance manager
Trouble Shooting
Effective planning for plant shut down
Preventive maintenance tasks
Lubrication, belt tracking, replacing bearings, chains, belts, motors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, screw conveyors and etc.
Planned shutdown maintenance tasks
Monthly stock taking of spare parts inventory
Repairs to Pneumatic airlines and componentry
Repairs to Hydraulic Systems and componentry
Working cohesively with other trades
Performing changeovers, machine adjustments and mechanical breakdowns
About You
A minimum 5 years proven experience in a hands on Mechanical Fitter role
Certificate or higher
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage multiple stakeholders
Strong analytical skills
Hands on with high attention to detail
