About the Role
An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Chief of Staff who is looking to support the CEO and day-to-day operations in an innovative deep-tech start-up. This is a role that would suit someone who enjoys structure and being part of a fast-paced team.
Day to Day
- Manage the CEO's inbox and calendar, prioritizing requests and maintaining flow
- Prepare high-quality documents for internal meetings, external communications, and investor presentations
- Structure and run meetings: set agendas, document outcomes, and hold teams accountable
- Streamline internal processes to improve decision-making and cross-functional collaboration
- Support day-to-day business operations across departments
- Assist in recruiting and onboarding, from coordination to process improvement
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in sensitive matters
- Help prepare fundraising materials, manage the data room, and support investor relations
- Coordinate all business travel and accommodation logistics
- Manage executive meetings, client lunches, and events—ensuring every detail is in place
- Draft correspondence, handle admin tasks, and manage legal or board documentation
- Attend meetings on behalf of the CEO and ensure effective follow-through on action items
- Champion company culture initiatives, internal rituals, and values-driven engagement
- Act as a strategic HR partner supporting team communication, development, and planning
You'll Need
- Experience in a high-impact operational, strategic, or advisory role such as Chief of Staff, business operations lead, consultant, or product manager
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft polished documents and synthesize complex information for executive stakeholders
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and judgment in handling sensitive information
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Comfortable working cross-functionally across HR, Finance, Product, Legal, and other teams
- Familiarity with productivity and collaboration tools such as Clickup, Slack, Jira, or Confluence
- Analytical thinker with a data-informed mindset and strong problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting executive communications, board updates, or fundraising efforts is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to help foster a strong, values-driven team culture
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus
