Due to ongoing company growth throughout North Queensland, we are seeking reliable, motivated, and experienced Sheet Metal Worker / Duct Installer to join our Sheet Metal Team in Townsvilleon a permanent, full-time basis.

The successful candidate/s will be primarily responsible for the installation of sheet metal ductwork & associated HVAC equipment.

With our current team of 80+ staff, Peak ARE specialise in the delivery of Commercial and Industrial, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Electrical Services employing an all-inclusive methodology in the delivery of our works, with a strong reputation in being able to deliver expert results in the design, construction, commissioning and servicing of all key areas within the Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) industry.

This role is placed within our Mechanical Service and Projects Department working alongside the Electrical Projects and Service Teams, supported by our Safety and Administration Departments.

Our new Head Office located at 350 Bayswater Road includes a purpose built, market leading premises which offers both superior staff amenities, and the ability to accommodate ongoing short and long-term future company growth. Our facility now incorporates a new in-house, state of the art sheet metal manufacturing capability which has facilitated this exciting new opportunity.

Skills, experience, and license requirements

The successful applicant will ideally possess the following qualifications and licenses:

  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ductwork manufacturing experience a bonus but not essential.
  • Forklift licence
  • White Card
  • Additional licences highly regarded.
