Job Description:

Due to further growth within the business, Solar Dimension are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our crew with the installation of Solar PV systems for residential and commercial sites. We are strategically positioned for imminent expansion in the electrician industry, with a clear vision and plan that promises to enhance the diversity and scope of your role. Reporting to the Lead Electrician, the position is permanent full time Monday to Friday. The days will be early starts and early finish, usually with set hours but flexibility will be required from time to time. Occasionally business takes us out of town, which is usually only day trips, however there may be a few times per year that may require a couple of days out of town.

Responsibilities:

  • Future plans for general electrical work & Air conditioning installs.
  • Installation of solar panels, inverters and batteries for residential and commercial solar Jobs - if you are an experienced electrician who has not carried our solar inspections before, we will train you.
  • Collection and transportation of products from warehouse to job sites
  • Display high level of compliance towards safe electrical standards and CEC guidelines
  • Able to attend any Job related technical issue at the Job site
  • Other related electrical works such as fit-offs, switchboard upgrades, cable runs etc. as and when require
  • Have the ability to work efficiently in a fast pace environment.
  • Be capable of working within a team and lead an installation crew.
  • Be physically fit and able to lift solar panels above shoulder height.
  • Be a motivated, team player with a positive can-do attitude.
  • Be reliable and punctual.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Take pride in your work.

Qualifications:

  • Current Unrestricted QLD Electrical Workers Licence is essential
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence is essential

The following qualifications are essential to work autonomously in this role, however we will consider applicants who do not currently possess these as they can be obtained before working on site.

  • CEC Accredited Solar Installer
  • Working at Heights
  • Construction White Card
  • First Aid CPR
