The Department of the Premier and Cabinet is seeking an organised and detail oriented professional experienced in government advertising to join our team as Advertising Coordinator to support the Government Advertising and Communication Committee secretariat.

With a strong focus on administrative support and effective and timely coordination, the role is critical in supporting the efficient operation and high standards in government advertising.

Leveraging your advertising campaign expertise, you will play an advisory and liaison role to support the Committee's governance and oversight responsibilities. You'll be part of a dynamic team that plays a crucial role in delivering high quality communication outcomes across the Queensland Government.

As Advertising Coordinator, you'll play an integrate role in a small, dynamic team supporting the Government Advertising and Communication Committee secretariat through efficient coordination and administrative expertise, governance and communication advice.

Supporting the efficient operation of the Government Advertising and Communication Committee secretariat, you will manage meeting logistics and use your meticulous attention to detail and accuracy to prepare briefings, meeting agendas, minutes and correspondence.

Your ability to build strong networks and productive working relationships across government will ensure timely governance and communication advice.

What you'll bring to the role

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Expertise in government advertising campaigns, including evaluation and performance metrics, with prior experience in managing or supporting campaigns.

• Demonstrated capability to coordinate multiple tasks and stakeholders while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

• Experience working in dynamic and busy environments, with a track record of meeting conflicting deadlines and remaining composed under pressure.

• Clear, professional written and verbal communication, with meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of your work.

• Prior experience in public sector communications or campaign management will be highly regarded.
