We're looking for an experienced Shared Services Manager to lead our Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) teams across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan and China.

In this pivotal role, you'll oversee end-to-end credit management, cash requirements, and daily payment operations—driving efficiency, accuracy, and meaningful business impact.

What You'll Do

  • Lead AP & AR teams (5 direct reports) to deliver timely, accurate, and efficient shared services across multiple geographies.

  • Drive credit management, oversee cash requirements and manage daily payment runs.

  • Improve key metrics including DSO, DPO, and Net Working Capital and % of NSV.

  • Challenge and elevate existing processes while supporting system and process change initiatives.

  • Partner with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Coach and develop team members to reach their full potential.

What You'll Bring

Essential Skills & Abilities

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Strong problem-solving, time management, and organisational capabilities

  • Proven leadership with a track record of developing high-performing teams

  • Ability to influence and drive process improvement

  • Experience implementing systems and process changes

Knowledge Requirements

  • Proficiency across Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Pivots, VLOOKUPs)

  • ERP experience (QAD preferred)

  • Solid understanding of AP, AR, and credit management

  • Basic accounting principles and compliance awareness

Experience

  • 5+ years in a Shared Services leadership role

  • Experience with AR/AP automation

  • Background in consolidating and centralising shared service delivery

Desirable Education

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce

  • CPA/CA advantageous but not essential
