About Us
Challenge Community Services is a well-established, quality-assured organisation, committed to delivering person-centred services to children, youth, and carers across New South Wales. We specialise in foster care, residential support, and respite services, and are passionate about making a positive and lasting impact in our communities.
About The Role:
In this role, you will work closely with families, carers, government agencies, and regulatory bodies to support children and young people in foster care. No two days will look the same as you manage a variety of cases, perform administrative duties, and document case notes from face-to-face meetings with children and carers. You will also have the opportunity to visit and support children and carers in foster care settings.
We are looking for someone who loves working with the community and wants to join an organisation dedicated to empowering and enhancing the experiences of children, young people, and foster carers. Be a part of our supportive team that values inclusion and diversity. If you possess the qualities and experience we seek, we encourage you to apply or contact us to discuss this opportunity further.
About You:
We are seeking someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. You should also be:
- Empathetic and Dedicated: Committed to improving the lives of children and young people.
- Confidentiality and Professionalism: Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Resilient and Adaptable: Understanding that plans may change and being flexible in your approach.
