About the role

Burglar Liquid Waste (VIC) Pty Ltd, a leading provider of liquid waste management services, is seeking a highly skilled Finance and Business Operations Manager to join our team in Campbellfield, VIC. This full-time role is a critical position that will oversee the financial management and business operations of our growing organisation.

What you'll be doing

Manage and oversee all financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis

Implement and maintain effective financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making

Optimise business operations by identifying areas for improvement and implementing efficient processes

Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections

What we're looking for

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior financial management or business operations role, preferably within the liquid waste or related industry

Strong technical accounting and financial management skills, with a deep understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting

Proven experience in improving operational efficiency and implementing effective business processes

Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to provide strategic financial insights

Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and a CPA or CA designation is highly desirable
