About the role

Tenterfield Golf Club is seeking an experienced and talented Chef to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for creating delicious meals, providing excellent customer service and working within a result driven team. The position is based in Tenterfield, NSW.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals for our members and guests using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients
  • Manage kitchen staff, including assigning tasks, providing training, and ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation
  • Work with our Head Chef to develop and update menus to keep offerings fresh and appealing
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and health regulations
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Collaborate with the management team to improve operations and enhance the dining experience

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role
  • Restaurant or club chef experience specifically required for the minimum 3 years
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and menu planning
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
  • Passion for using fresh, high-quality ingredients to create delicious, innovative dishes
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification
  • Current Food Safety Supervisor certification
  • Australian work rights required for this position
