The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated person to provide administrative support to our Board of Directors. The role includes preparing meeting agendas and papers, taking accurate minutes, maintaining electronic records, and ensuring timely preparation of board Agenda and collate the board reports from the RCC CEO and management team.
About You
- Well-developed administrative, communication, and computer skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively with a Board of Directors and community organisations.
- Knowledge of legal governance duties and board meeting protocols.
- Demonstrated experience working as a minutes taker for formal meetings.
- Skilled in preparing agendas and liaising with the CEO and other managers to compile and prepare board reports.
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Experience using secure online portals (e.g., CatHerder) to store and manage Board records (highly desirable).
- Professional, confidential, and collaborative communication with the Board, CEO, and stakeholders.
- Previous experience providing confidential support to an executive or governance body will be highly regarded.
- Understand the concept of Conflict of Interest and comply and adhere to the principles of confidentiality.
Desirable
Previous experience as Minute Taker and admin support to the Board.
Other Requirements
- Compliance with WHS and anti-discrimination legislation.
- Ability to uphold confidentiality, transparency, and professionalism at all times.
- Attend monthly Board meetings, (Every last Wednesday of the month) , special meetings (as and when required), and the AGM (Once a year).
- Police Criminal History Check and Working with Children Check may be required.
