About the role

We are currently seeking reliable and compassionate disability support workers to provide care and assistance for 2 programs, one is with a 59 year old female with a disability, this care will help her live independently at home and the second program is to provide care and assistance to a 62 year old male with a disability.

Duties include but not limited too

  • Personal care
  • Medication administration
  • Assistance with Allied health tasks
  • Manual handling
  • Domestic assistance
  • Documentation and reporting

You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can.

Shifts available:

  • 4pm to 7pm daily
  • 7pm to 7am (includes a sleepover 10pm-6am) alternate Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday
  • Tuesday sleepover shift 10pm to 6am

Requirements:

  • Applicants must have good English speaking skills, be clear and easily understood
  • Previous care experience
  • Current references
  • Mobile phone
  • Current driver's licence and your own car (mandatory)
  • NDIS workers screening check or willing to obtain (mandatory)
  • First Aid certificate or willing to obtain (mandatory)
  • Paid WWCC (Working with Children's check) or willing to obtain
  • Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing
