Altitude 1148 is a contemporary restaurant, café, and function centre perched above the Illawarra with stunning coastal views. We're known for our warm hospitality, professional service, and refined dining experience — and we're looking for a reliable Kitchen Hand to join our friendly team.

What You'll Do

  • Support chefs with food preparation and plating
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen
  • Assist with dishwashing and equipment cleaning
  • Follow all food-safety and WHS standards

About You

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a kitchen hand or cook
  • Experience with seafood and/or Indian-Pakistani cuisine (highly regarded)
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety practices
  • Professional attitude and team player under pressure
  • Well-presented with good communication skills (open kitchen environment)

Availability Required

  • Fridays (evening)
  • Saturdays (afternoon & evening)
  • Sundays (afternoon)
  • Public Holidays and additional weekday shifts as needed

Important Note

Our venue is located at Bulli Tops, outside the reach of public transport.

Applicants must have their own reliable transport to and from work.
