What We're Looking For 

  • Graduating within the next 6 months with a degree in Software Engineering, IT or Computer Science
  • Located in Brisbane
  • A talent for breaking things, a desire to automate and high attention to detail
  • The ability to think outside of the box and solve problems in unconventional ways
  • Motivated team player

Your day to day

  • Write code to provide test automation to validate new functionalities and to maintain existing systems
  • Apply software engineering principles to our Test processes removing manual tasks and ensuring quality in the future
  • Build your knowledge of testing processes, practices and technologies across the entire test lifecycle
  • Actively participate in planning, stand-ups, showcases, retrospectives
  • Contribute to commercial products with real-world impacts
  • Collaborate with and learn from one of Brisbane's largest software development hubs

We use the following frameworks in C# and Typescript, but are always adapting to emerging trends. Don't worry if you haven't used these before

Deswik is a global mining software and consulting company, consisting of over 450 experienced mining professionals, software engineers and mathematicians. Our software development team of 150+ is based in Brisbane, where we were founded 17 years ago. 

We are now used in more than 900 mining operations across the globe, and produce some of the leading products in our market.
