Now, we're looking for a
News Journalist (Cadet) @ CarsGuide
to join our Motors Editorial team and support our fast-moving News function. Reporting to the CarsGuide News Editor, you will be a car enthusiast who is exclusively responsible for creating engaging News content as part of CarsGuide's team of trusted journalists.

What You'll Do

  • Create engaging written, video, and audio content
  • Write news and advice, optimised for SEO and aligned with our editorial voice
  • Present or voice content when needed
  • Represent CarsGuide at media events (some travel required)
  • Build strong industry relationships and contribute to our social channels

What you bring

  • Journalism degree (or similar)
  • Great writing, presenting and editing skills
  • A love for cars and storytelling
  • SEO know-how and CMS experience are a plus
  • Team-first attitude and strong attention to detail
