About the Job Role:

Metaltex is currently seeking an experienced Sanding & Finishing Labourer with experience in the sheet metal fabrication industry for an immediate start on our Afternoon shift 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm

The job role includes but not limited to the following:

  • Sanding & Finishing of Metal products
  • Buffing, Grinding, Cutting, Drilling & Finishing
  • Cleaning and maintaining work areas

About the Person:

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

  • Experience sanding metal components
  • Must have previous experience using hand tools (sanders)
  • Previous experience working with steel in a manufacturing environment.
  • Work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Strong understanding and commitment to Workplace Health & Safety
  • Ability to take direction.
  • Prepared to learn and grow with the company.
  • Punctuality, reliability, efficiency & sound work ethic essential.
  • Attention to detail essential.
  • Must be able to maintain a clean & tidy working environment.
  • Sound communication skills.
