About the role

Fowler and Sons Excavations is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team on the Central Coast, NSW. This full-time role is responsible for operating heavy construction equipment to assist with a variety of excavation and site preparation projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Operate excavators and other heavy machinery in a safe and efficient manner
  • Carry out excavation, demolition, and site clearing tasks as directed
  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report any issues or concerns
  • Work collaboratively with the construction team to meet project timelines and objectives
  • Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as an Excavator Operator in the construction industry
  • MR license required
  • Demonstrated expertise in operating a range of heavy equipment including excavators and pozi track
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficient in reading construction plans and interpreting site specifications
  • Relevant qualifications or licenses (e.g. High-Risk Work License, Construction Induction Card)
