About the role
The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC2) is responsible for the provision of expert clinical advice, coordination, leadership and consultancy services within the defined speciality of end of life and target populations within Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSW LHD).
The Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) CNC2 role provides a consultative and liaison focused service aimed at supporting VAD patients and families across the district. Working collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders to provide expert advice and evidence-based management of VAD. This includes the monitoring and auditing of KPI's to enable a safe compassionate VAD service for patients, families and staff.
