Clinical Nurse Educator – Mental Health

Permanent Full-Time | Senior Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) to join our dynamic Mental Health team. In this key leadership position, you will play a pivotal role in driving education, professional development, and clinical standards across our adult public and private mental health services, including acute and short-stay settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality education, orientation, and mentorship to nursing staff, graduates, and students.
  • Identify and address learning needs across the Mental Health Service.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and evidence-based practice.
  • Support staff to develop problem-solving and reflective clinical skills.
  • Maintain compliance with mandatory training and CPD requirements.
  • Liaise with education and leadership teams to align training with organisational priorities.
  • Demonstrate excellence in clinical practice and act as a professional role model.

About You

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
  • Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience in Mental Health.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Mental Health, Education or Leadership (desirable).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and computer literacy skills.
  • Highly motivated, organised, and able to work independently.
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or working towards) will be well regarded.
