- Interpret and shape Defence cyber policy, contributing to the development of standards and guidelines.
- Coordinate Assessment & Authorisation (A&A) activities, including preparation of key documentation (SoA, SOD, SRMP, CMP).
- Engage with Defence cyber assessment bodies to support A&A execution and system accreditation.
- Support ICT system operations, ensuring secure and effective day-to-day management.
- Maintain cyberworthiness throughout the system lifecycle, from design to decommissioning.
- Conduct security risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify and mitigate threats.
- Deliver assurance activities to evaluate and strengthen Defence's ICT risk posture.
- Drive continuous improvement by developing and implementing cyber security strategies aligned with business outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Defence, industry, and technical teams to enhance cyber security practices.
- Develop critical security artefacts for platform and simulator systems, supporting secure capability delivery.
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
- Demonstrated expertise in cyber security governance, risk management, and ICT system assurance within Defence or similarly regulated environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Defence cyberworthiness frameworks, A&A processes, and ICT lifecycle management.
- Proven ability to develop and manage system documentation and security artefacts.

- A track record of leading strategic initiatives and driving continuous improvement in cyber security delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
